Dr. Shehane attended undergraduate school at Louisiana State College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana from 1971-1975, graduating with honors. He then went to medical school at Louisiana State University Medical School in Shreveport, Louisiana from 1975-1979, again graduating with honors. Post graduate training was completed again at LSU. Dr. Shehane then completed advanced training in Cardiac Transplantation at Cambridge University, Papworth Hospital in Cambridge, UK. Dr. Shehane initially went into private practice in Shreveport, La., where he was Chief of Medicine at Willis-Knighton Transplant Program at the LSU Medical Center. Dr. Shehane moved his practice to Las Vegas in 1990, and has been here since that time. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease, and practices General and Interventional Cardiology. Dr. Shehane is a memberof the American College of Cardiology, the

American Heart Association, and the Nevada State Medical Society.
