Dr. Chanderraj was born in Hyderabad, India. He graduated from Guntur Medical College in India in 1970. He worked in Ireland, England and Canada from 1971-1977. He came to the United States in 1977 to do a Fellowship in Cardiology at Southern Nevada Memorial Hospital. Dr. Chanderraj has been married to his wife, Radha, since 1981 and has three sons. Their oldest son is currently attending Stanford, his middle son is at Harvard and the youngest is attending the University of Pennsylvania/Wharton. Dr. Chanderraj enjoys being involved in many public organizations such as The United Way, Clark County Public Health Foundation, Public Education Foundation and the Medical Society, just to mention a few. He is also very involved with Friends of India and is on the Board of Directors for the Hindu Temple of Las Vegas.
